Khronos Membership

Founded in 2000, The Khronos Group is a not for profit, member-funded consortium focused on the creation of royalty-free open standards to enable applications to access the power of 3D graphics, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Parallel Computing, Machine Learning, and Vision Processing on a wide variety of platforms and devices. Many of the standards created by Khronos working groups are widely used in the industry today, such as Vulkan, OpenXR, glTF, OpenGL, OpenGL ES, WebGL, OpenCL, OpenVX, SYCL, SPIR, and more.

Khronos Membership puts your company at the forefront of the development of these standards, and lets you collaborate with over 150 industry-leading member companies across the globe.

Member Benefits and Membership Levels

All Khronos members are able to contribute to the development of any Khronos standards specification, are able to accelerate the delivery of their cutting-edge 3D platforms and applications through early access to specification drafts and conformance tests, and are eligible for Adopter discounts. Khronos is open for any interested party to join. By following well-documented policies and procedures, Khronos allows for equal balance among stakeholders and for decisions to be made by consensus. Khronos standardization policy and procedure documents are available for review..
